Fauzia Kehar

Ms. Fauzia Kehar is a senior legal and regulatory professional with over 20 years of experience advising financial institutions and multinational corporations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, MENA, and Pakistan. She is currently a Partner at MAS Law (Alserkal & Partners LLC), a leading full-service regional law firm, where she focuses on corporate, regulatory, and dispute matters, including cross-border transactions, financial services regulation, governance advisory and litigation matters.
Previously, Ms. Kehar spent 18 years at Citibank N.A., most recently as Managing Director and Division Legal Counsel for the Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan. She led Citi’s regional legal function across 17 jurisdictions, worked closely with key financial regulators, and played a central role in the establishment and licensing of Citi’s regulated entities in Saudi Arabia, DIFC, and ADGM. She also served on Citi’s regional leadership and diversity committees and co-chaired the UAE Women’s Network.
Ms. Kehar holds an LL.M. from the University of London as a Britannia Chevening Scholar and a law degree with top provincial rankings. She has also widely been recognized for her leadership, including multiple listings on the Legal 500 General Counsel Powerlist for the Middle East.
